As the year comes to an end, a feeling of nostalgia is in the air. As the days are slipping out of hands, we realise the importance of our life here in college !! Freedom to be what you are, to say what you feel & make life dance to our tunes.. Will that ever happen again ??
All these years we took this life for granted as if we had no idea that it will come to an end someday !! NO, we had this in our mind before. Somewhere deep inside we knew that we will have to depart someday.. It was just that our hearts never allowed us to think about end of college life . . . till today !!
Each one of us came in with dreams, with ambitions, with expectations !!! A lot of water has flown under the bridge since we came . . till Now..
We have seen promise, passion, selflessness, grudge, love, hatred, friendship, ‘submissionship’ & above all ‘true friendship’. All these emotions & relations intermixed in a drama called ‘college life’!! As the curtain to this drama is about to fall, we want to stay on the stage a little more longer . . . even after knowing the show is over we want to be there to fulfil unkept promises, to say untold things, to achieve dreams we could never reach to or for someone like me to be there just for the sake of ‘being there’. . . . to enjoy those night outs, b’day bashes, ‘bird-watching’, long chats & short tours, that gossip & those ‘smiles’ & ‘stares’.. which says a lot without saying anything.. & yes for anna’s ‘peeeccial chaaai’..
Today we enjoy the tag of being irresponsible, shameless creatures.. Will this carefree & sporting attitude be there tomorrow ?? Or this identity will be crushed under the whelm of ‘duniyadari’ . . . . & there it comes, as they say, a matured, smart, diplomatic young person with a tie to his neck & at your service attitude. . . . Where is all the flamboyance gone man ?? No one knows, that’s the truth of life !!
Tomorrow, the stage will be as it is, drama will be same in a way, but just the . . . . . . ‘Actors’ replaced !!
